This is another world...so anything is possible. Mules with gills where their mane should go and backpacks that come equipped with a re-retrievable self-limiting black hole equipped with an anti-gravity warp field around them.

and maybe the mules are invisible to the naked eye and have stealth capability as they don't appear in your mini map. LOL.

Well, when you have traveled all over the world and you got some magical people in your party, I'm sure you find ways to store items. (Remember, your party can be imported from Bane of the Cosmic Forge, to Crusaders of the Dark Savant, to Wiz 8, thats three games of discovering storing methods)

I still think I probably imagined it but the other night I was checking out inventories of the party, doing maintenance so their encumberance stays in the white rather than blue and I noticed a funny thing.

I added up how much party (not personal) weight the entire party was carrying, added it up, then, then I got rid of a 20 lb. bundle of arrows from party inventory and and added it up again. It only went down 10 lb.!! I tried this several more times with other items and moving them in or out of player inventories.

Apparently, items weigh only half as much when they are in party inventory as when they are in any player inventory. I guess that's to simulate the relative difficulty of carrying an item on your person rather than just putting it away... on a magic mule.
