Always glad to see Tim Curry get a mention, excellent in RHPS and every other movie he has been in (Congo anyone?)

Tom, of Tom & Jerry fame. Although his acting is somewhat two dimensional I can't help but root for him every time.

Same goes for Darth Vader. He's cool, but not likeable.
Disagree slightly. Kreuger is likeable BECAUSE he kills annoying brats. Doing it wittily just makes it even better. And Darth Vader -- c'mon, what better buddy to have around than one who pulls the choke-a-bitch move on those who piss him off? And, really, sometimes a bitch just needs choking. Can you think of a better bar trick?

As for Sidious, I actually found him someone I could like. Before the face lift, of course. I couldn't be friends with him after that. I'd tell him, "Dude, did you really WANT to fry your face into a disgusting goo?" and then he'd fry me. Nope, couldn't do it.

I'm gonna throw out a Tyler Durden from Fight Club. I was really kinda hoping that he'd stick around as he was a total bad@$$. I didn't dislike Norton's character, he was just so whiny and self-absorbed. Durden was the man and could technically (I think) be considered the bad guy.

Question Mark

Come on, people! Let's get serious, here:

1) Hannibal Lecter. You don't dare not like him!
2) Jack Nicholson's Joker. 'nuff said!
3) Michelle Pfeffer's Catwoman. *ahem*

and for the less-than-initiated....

4) Ozymandias.
5) Casanova Frankenstein.
6) Angus Thermopyle. (I wonder if anyone else here even knows who he is...)

I think the way Alan Rickman played the sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood prince of thieves was great. I just wanted him to win, and he had such great lines...
...I’ll cut his heart out with a spoon!!
Why cousin
Because it’ll hurt more you fool...

Great!!

LOLOLOL!!! Alan Rickman plays a great villain. I also loved his role in Robin Hood. Another great line was when he runs one of the swords made by the blacksmith through his cousin's gut. As his cousin lays on the ground dieing, he turns to the blacksmith and simply says "Good steel". hahah Very cold.

Another villain along the same lines is Kurgan from the original Highlander movie. He was just too cool. His whole attitude was "I'm the biggest, baddest mofo on the planet...and I know it." Of course, that also made it even cooler when Conner wasn't intimidated by him.

"You are WEAK, Highlander. You will ALWAYS be weaker than I."
Conner (grabbing Kurgans throat) "I'll be waiting outside."

Very cool exchange.

Yeah, Alan had some great lined in that film.
Another 'bad guy' that grew on me was gollum from Lord of the rings, I got together with a few friends and watched all three movies back to back, (with a fair amount of beer!!) and by the end we were willing Gollum to kill Frodo as he had become so annoying!!!!
