I actually think PUNCH DRUNK LOVE is quite interesting.

as for SOLAIRS...much worst than the original movie it was remade of...however, if you cannot sit through this actually more audience friendly version, this type of film's just not your cup of tea.
I really disliked Solaris, too. I really like "thinking" movies, and I like movies with an unpredictable ending, but the ending was so obvious here.

What I disliked the most about this movie is that there were no plot and explanation. It might as well have happened on earth. There was really only about 10 minutes of material in that movie.
I don't really like SOLARIS that much, if I do, I'd have said: "though not as good as the original, bahbahabh..." The original is actually more a "feeling" movie than a "thinking" one. the remake doesn't do a sufficient job in that department. Not every "slower-paced" movie is a "thinking" movie. most of the slow movies I've seen, more often than not, I appreciate them more when I "feel" them rather than "reason with" them.

Well, It didn't make me feel anything, so I assumed it was a "thinking" movie.

Reign of Fire(keep one eye on the sky... in a closed underworld dungeon), Shaolin Soccer(has good pionts, sucks on the long run), The Avengers(buahahahaha), Plan 9 from outer space(even worse than the first 8, and they sucked!) and Dungeons And Dragons(devastated).

I could rant a long time on the Dungeopn and Dragnons for dummies movie, and how it was targeted at the clueless instead of the fan.

I was really disapointed, but out of loyalty I've seen it 4 times so far.

AVENGERS is terrible indeed, but I think SHAOLIN SOCCER is one of the better movies in recent years.

I had to turn subtitles on since I couldn't understand most of the dialogue through the heavy accents.
