ON the IW access problem, this is a recurring issue with our old ISP that *should* have and indeed *seemed* to dissapear when we switched.

General fix is to create a file called hosts (no extension)that contains the line

24.129.134.18 www.ironworksforum.com

If it dosent work, delete it. In that case you have another problem. Also if IWs IP ever changes in future your comp wont be able to see it anymore, again delete the file and make a new one with the new IP.

Thanks again for the pointers, Andrewas, but the problem is persisting. So far it's only affecting IW pages but it's not booting me off according to any pattern that i can find. Sometimes i can stay on for half an hour before it stops and sometimes only five minutes. The number of pages visited doesn't seem to affect it nor the time of day. As i seem to be the only one that's experiencing this, could it be a virus on my system (that only affects IW; unlikely) or some problem with my service provider? It may sound stupid, but i'm not real good at this kind of trouble shooting.

BTW - what exactly was the problem affecting the old ISP? A detailed explaination might help me locate the problem. [img]smile.gif[/img]
