its simple and works great! i am able to download now from my yahoo and hotmail account

edit:
if you want by detail here is the step by step for yahoo and hotmail:

just go to the link and download section and download the ff files
webextension
yahoo
hotmail

once youve got all 3. just open your t-bird and go to tools=> addons and install webextension first then yahoo or hotmail which ever comes first

Then go to account options and add account. select webmail option and just put in your username and email your email address. Then just open your account in tbird and put in your password. do it twice for both yahoo and hotmail.

Your welcome, MSN = Microsoft Network = Microsoft = Bill Gates.
Free = Free, no payment, no strings. Bill Gates did not ascend into the top ten wealthiest people by giving things away for free.

The link provided is from the 'Penguin Side', as in Linux, ie... the .org address. It allows one to establish web-mail into T-Bird without the hassle (strings) as other programs or services.

I was unsure if it was compatible with the OS from Redmond, however, as Hark has posted a positive success, it therefore must be.

I run Linux as opposed to that other OS that most people use, or that every store bought PC comes pre-installed with. Therefore, it is a "choke-joke" that the source code is available for T-Bird to run web-mail from a "MSN" based site.

FYI:
To take it one step deeper, "most" servers are 'x' (Unix, Linux) based, running the "apache" which is not bound by 'windows or gates', and therefore really makes one wonder why? How? And who has the control of "windows" being pre-installed on store bought PCs! All the while MSN is running on an ......

I hope you I was kidding about my but post. Looks like to did.

I tried that link and it look me to another page. I clicked on downloads on that page. Then it told me sort of what was said earlier, about putting some file somewhere. I don't know where that file is or where to put it.
I'm not good at stuff like this.

nah you just download it in a folder in your desktop.. then you just open your tbird and use the tools ---> add ons and select the files in order as i posted above. it will install itself then just delete the files once youve done installing them in your tbird.

The only thing I just noticed is that Canada is "not" one of the flags showing under: Web-Mail-1.2.3 which is required. Does that mean I'm outa' lucky?
