Well I like my username, so like Mel, I probably wouldn't change it. Although if I did, I'd want to pick something so that everyone immediately knows I'm female and doesn't just assume I'm male because I'm online and play RPGs. Although it's hard to know what that might be. I used to play an online game where my nick was Aphrodite. You can't get much more feminine than that. And yet most people were still, 'oh are you a fem' ages after we'd met. Duh [img]graemlins/idontagreeatall.gif[/img]

I wanted to be Sandman, but the name was taken. Grr.

I've never been able to come up with an online name I was particularly happy with. I just picked this one seeing how this is a video game forum. I went with the last name of the main character from Final Fantasy Tactics, one of my favorites, if not THE favorite.

I'm so bad with thinking up names, I often just use my first or last name.

The two names I use are Deejax and Ilvara.

I would change my name into Ilvara just to see if people react differently.
Especially after hearing how many people get totally different reaction when playing the opposite sexe in online games.

I don't think I'd change my name but if I was going to I might choose one of my pc names from a game- Alassra or Stormsong. I've grown rather fond of the one I made up for IW, though. [img]smile.gif[/img] I used IceAngel on another board, but never liked it as much.
