I read today that he may cheat the death sentence on a technicality. According to Indonesia's constitution, laws may not be applied retroactively. The death sentence for terrorist acts was passed as law *after* the Bali bombing.
Well, I can live with that, but there should be no possibility of parole.

If that's the case, then toss him into the general prison population at a max security facility and let nature run its course. Might even screw his chances to check the "martyrdom" box on his 100-Virgins Application Packet.

let me straighten this up.to die in the name of Islam sure gives u the 'assurance of salvation in Islam.but in this case(amrozzis' case), amrozzis' acts has caused a big tragedy for the indonesian people, or even the world.his bomb made hundreds of people died invane.for this, of course in all other religions too, this is very bad.this is not what it means of 'die as a martyr'in Islam.none of the religions in the world tells us to kill innocent people, and then go to heaven when we die.amrozzi has done a big mistake of course.he is a extremist.extremists are bad.and i mean bad.
