Remember to patch it. The thing is more buggy than an anthill.

To MagiK and other prospective Ultima fans:
I use Exult for U7 and Serpent's Isle these days and it works just fine on XP. Might take some tweaking in some cases, but it should be easy enough. However, if you have an old machine (dx4, early pentium) with DOS lying around somewhere, using that to play in its original glory is more desirable. ![]() http://exult.sourceforge.net/index.php [ 10-03-2006, 09:08 AM: Message edited by: CerebroDragon ]

Exult is very very good. You need a copy of the game to get the data files, for obvious copyright reasons.
Ultima VII 1&2 are on my "favourite games of all time" list - they are definitely dated, but anyone who appreciates the team aspect of BG will probably like it.

Temple of Elemntal Evil is worth a shot, but it is buggy and very short:
True, but it's very good. You can go to www.co8.org to learn more about it. They've got lots of stuff for and about the game. You can get pool of Radiance cheap now and with all the patches it runs pretty good.
