Yep, the game-play of that game is really other-wordly and so is the visualization of the volley-ball court! ;D

The Xbox has recently had a major price drop to $329 (AUD) or $215 (USD)

I don't know about where you live, but it's bound to be cheaper than you think.

Plus, the Xbox has some great games, just look here.

Before even thinking of buying an Xbox, look at the rival consoles - PS2, GCN and make your decision based on which system has the games that you like the most.
It's cheaper than that in most places, I believe. There is a special going on that includes the console (and the "S" controller) plus Splinter Cell and Mechassault for $179. Not a bad deal for Xbox newcomers.

And on a sort of related note, is Halo ever going to come down in price? Games that are months newer are already platinum hits while Halo is still at release price.

I'm taking that as a joke.

Sexy women + sexy outfits + Xbox visuals = $$$$

It may not have gameplay, but surely, that can be forgiven.

My favorite game I've played on my friend's X-Box is Crystalis. :grins:

Hex-Boxes are so awesome. Seriously, if you get an X-Box, mod it and install Linux on it or whatnot. It's awesome like that.

I'm not sure if they've released the monthly price yet, but I'm waiting to see how the online thing will fair. If they jack up the price to above $20 a month, then I won't bother going online.

I don't think so. At least, not until Halo 2 is released. I believe Halo is the top seller (overall) for the Xbox, so why would it get a price cut?

Just to add this in there, I've found JSRF to be a pretty neat game. Skip, bump, and grind down practically anything cylindrical, and paint graffiti all over. There is the option to design your own graffiti, but I've never really taken the time to look into it.
