If you are a level 1 character then a level 1 Dark Brotherhood assassin comes for you. The assassins are based on your current level so you don't get massacred.

ah but i been well over 60 and nearly invincible for a long time playing [img]smile.gif[/img] so as yet nothing has come close to killing me for ages , so bring it on dark brotherhood, and its not just tribunal cos i have completed some quests involving them but i think they like me and im in morag tong so not sure how that works

Let me just say that thoes Dark Brotherhood fellows are no walk in the park. The first time I ran into them my level 50 character got snuffed like I was level one. After you get a handle on killing them they do leave some nice swords behind.

like glass shortswords enchanted with poison or paralyze and/or a new tipe of sword (long blade) with some enchantments, worth 1500... nothing so good in my opinion: get a legendary item instead, like eltonbrand or keening.

they can trick you like that only one time. They kill you, you go a savegame back, and when the moment comes you levitate and grab your bow. Goodbye brotherhood.

why dont you just levitate mid combat anyway? i got 300 odd hitpoints i doubt they would be a problem for me [img]tongue.gif[/img]

When the Dark Brotherhood attacks, usually it will be in a group. Rarely did I encounter them on a constant 1 on 1 basis.
