Getting an Infintiy Helm onto the knoggin of my Bishop!

alas, all is not roses..(to the constant hybrid thing)

1st off you won't have the infinity helm right away.
2nd, your spell casting power will be severly stunted if you alternate throughout the life of the game.
IF however you use Scatter's level 11 threashold with Bishop then to hybrid and start alternating (at level 12) you will still be stunting the magic casting power that your Bishop levels would provide. -Remember, your not casting (and improving) ALL the spells that you would be as a pure Bishop. Instead your only improving those of your Hybrids.
3rd. Your taking a bigger exp. point hit latter in levels as you continue with your Bishop. Best to take the hit early-on.

i.e. take Scatter's advice you'll be FAR better off.

essetentially then either:
1. Bishop to level 11 then Hybrid for the rest; OR
2. Bishop to level 18-23 then Fighter for the rest.

I understood from Flamestryke that the Ring of Power is unobtainable except through an item editor. Can you give an update on this please?

Er, Amulet of Nebdar.

I did try an editor a while back, to give myself a second Boomerang Shuriken, and give all those other things a try that you can't get in the game. Ring of Power is supposed to have been obtained by someone "accidentally" killing Bela, but i have been unable to reproduce that. But even without RoP, Nebdar and Rejuv Robes is enough.

I tried the alternating bishop/other class over the past day or so...
with dissapointing results.

while you get to wear the goodies and get the spells, the realms of magic not native to the other class dont go up.
so psionic power stays fixed and greyed out no matter how much training you can do.
ditto with spells, only spells normally available to the other class make the spell realm go up.

oh well.
