Who to pick? Korgan or Minsc? i need help!

Well.... Korgan is really sucky. Minsc is MUCH better. Two handed swords beat the crap outta Warhammers

I think that Minsc is much better than Korgan. Also Korgan is evil and I like good chars best. And by the way, what the f.... are you talking about. Long swords may be good but Crom Fayr RULES!!!

An enchantment which is: Death. The target must take a save VS death or DIE! If Korgan fought Minsc and Minsc where vielding the Silver blade and Korgan the Crom faer, Minsc would slay him with the Death spell!

I'm going to say Minsc is better than Korgan. Korgan is better in a full-out brawl (yes, his AC is 1 point worse than Minsc's, but his hitpoints make up for it), but Minsc can heal himself afterwards. Korgan can get Grandmastery, but then again, that means Minsc can learn more weapons. He can Stealth, too.

But why take either when you can take Valygar? [He's a lousy Tank, but great otherwise] And why take ANY of them when you can get Keldorn? Slap the Gauntlets of Dexterity on him and he's almost as good as your PC! (The only things I don't like about Keldorn are that they could have given him 18 CON, and they made him an Inquisitor.)

In TOB you can place points onto Dual Wield for Korgan and duel wield Crom Feayr AND that really good axe.This makes him do damage to everything (i think). What can you do with the silver sword- Hope to get that 5% chance of instant death and kill Firkraag in one hit, o and you can't hit golems with 2 handed swords (can you?). [img]tongue.gif[/img]

When u get Imoen get rid of jan and have both!I find imoen is the only theif u need and you can teach her knock.Also if u get the ring of lock picking it makes her better.Also if you really want you can buy some potions of master theivery

Darius, I can't help you with the choice between Korgan and Minsc. I don't like having evil characters around because it just seems...well, evil.

But what you really SHOULD do is kick Anomen out of your party and have Korgan pound him into mush. Please.

Frankly, if the only reasons you're thinking of keeping or dropping a character is a debate over which magic weapon to give him, probably a roleplaying game is not for you... may I suggest the Diablo series?

Both are excellent characters. I don't use Korgan because I think he's a jerk. Some people don't use Minsc because they think he's an annoying nut-job. Both of those are EXCELLENT reaons to adventure or not with someone, if your character has amnesia... if not, you really ought to have a reason to kick Minsc out.
