Fact is that it was a LATE release, well over a year after the game had been "finished" before they put together the deal with Electronic Boutique.

Check around for a better picture of the situation for Sir Tech. They may have been forced by financial considerations into cutting short their development work when the money ran out over a year ago.

i would kill Crock because of three reasons.
First, I hate that guy and second, you get a lot more than your missing character in the treasure. I found mantis gloves and other nice stuff there.
And the main reason is, that you can eat Brekek's leg
Crock suckz

Yeah, but you may as well kill Brekek, get the 75K from him, then kill him. Make his death all the more sweet.

I like Croc inspite of himself, he reminds me of a great cook I knew from the bayou (Louisiana). His stuff was hot! (literally) I think Croc's motivation for kidnapping one of our party was he thought we were working for the T'Rang. He had set a trap, or whatever. I forget the exact dialogue when he frees the kidnapee.

Whoever did the voice on that guy sure sounds authentic. I also killed Brekek a few times to level up when people were close. The comment is correct in that you don't get much battle skill leveling, just experience. Some times I get more skill points battling the lowest level beasties! The more battles the better seems to be the algorhythm.
