OK, I am getting very frustrated here. I still can't kill saffy. I have tried just about everything, Iona with the bagpipes, fireballs, sonic booms, guardian angel. Can't seem to get through it without my whole party getting killed. Darn.

Did you cast any protective spells prior to the encounter?
(Enchanted Blade)
Bless helps too but you have to be in a battle in order to cast it.
If you have any Cherry bombs left, those also do some damage.

I've found Armorplate to be a big help. I feel like I've dodged a bullet every time that huge thing misses.

YES, YES, YES, I finally killed Saffy. After many many tries, I finally got him and I used everything I had. Yes, I even used armorplate and that definitely helped. Thank you everyone. A small sense of accomplishment for me and I feel TERRIFIC!!!!!
