That's fair enough, Stormy. I only said sorry because I felt that I might have been a bite rude to you. Yes you are entitled to your own opinions, a lot people just don't agree with them

I tend to think this is a lot cleverer than its often given credit for. Tom Green isn't just trying to gross out people, but also to genuinely see how far he can get without breaking social boundaries. Its not the best film ever, but its certainly not the worst - IMO anyway.

And Rip Torn rocks, as alwaws.

Barry, I called it the worst comedy ever not the worst movie. I think Tom Green is trying gross people out and make a lame joke.

Rip Torn pulling down his pants has given me a bad memory...

My vote is Blair Witch Project

Eyes Wide Shut was...disturbing. I hated the soundtrack, boring piano part that it was. The plot was interesting...but still, through that whole cult scene I was thinking "WTF?!" lol

When I think of worst films, I usually look at their potential (star power, director, budget, etc.). Anything that had a bunch of those elements and still came out bad goes right up near the top.

I can't put Plan 9 from Outer Space up there, despite how horrible/laughable it is. It had no budget, a washed up Bela Legosi as its only star power, and a pretty much looked down upon director. However, the one that tops my list is The Swarm. This was a 1970s flick that had Michael Caine in his prime, a huge budget (for its time, at least), etc. and is so bad they don't even show it late night on TV (the one place I saw it was on a local Spanish station, one that on late night Saturdays shows really, REALLY bad movies). The acting is just carboard (from Academy Award winning actors), even with the so-called "big budget effects", the helecopters/toy helecopters made the ones in Godzilla movies look believable. The bee swarms look just like dots put on the frame.

Favorite scene from the movie is when the female doctor (Barbara Hershey, I believe) comes into the room where someone has been placed after being stung, and finds them dead. Does she begin CPR? No. Does she sound a Code Blue? No. She stares blankly at them for a moment, the goes "Carl [the male nurse], we have a problem." The reason for saying all of this about the movie is because quite a few people don't know about it where I'm at (it did come out in the 1970s, and they don't show it much).

I understand about Rip Torn, thats not a pleasant scene... But there must be some comedies that are worse. I'll have to think about it and try and come up with some suggestions for things we'll all truly despise.

As for the worst film ever, in my opinion, it has to be David Lynch's Dune. So very, very, bad.

That was the one with Sting as Fade Rautha Harkonen? I personally thought this movie was better than the miniseries SciFi did

Dungeon and Dragon. what an anticlimax to LOTR. and what a waste of $19.99 to subcribe it.
