There are however some who just knock you down and make you think "WTF!!!"
The worst movie I can remember being illogical, boring, ugly, AND awfully directed as well as awfully acted is under all circumstances: "Battlefield Earth"

I hate it when a bad movie is also dead serious and doesn't have one single joke or clever remark. I can live with bad comedies full of fart-humor although I don't like them. But if a movie is complete crap AND wants us to believe that it is important and interesting and tries to beat that into us every scene I just quit.
Definitely. Someone on one of the other threads posted this link. Great site for those movies so bad they are funny.

However, there are some truly hideous movies out there. One of the worst I have ever seen was The Swarm, with Michael Caine. They blew a ton of money on that film (for its day), and it is truly horrible. I was forced to sit through Swept Away by my now ex-girlfriend, and even she felt violated after watching that. Driven is also horrid, too. A good site to check out is the Razzies website. They are usually pretty good at picking out the really bad movies of each year.

Correct! Driven is an insult to every intelligent being. Racing trough the streets at 200mph with NO windshield and NO helmet. CGI that is easily beaten by the QuakeII Engine.
But the end of the movie killed me the most:
1.) A car crashes into the wall and EXPLODES lifts up flies through the air and EXPLODES while airborne thus burning a tree and landing in a river. Now the remaining fuel from the car that exploded TWICE already is running into the river and the burning tree is threatining to fall down making the car EXPLODE for the third time.
2.) As soon as the main characters find out they TURN AROUND on the race-track and speed to the accident as there is apparently no rescue crew at this race or a rescue crew that is not as well trained as the two race drivers and can't get there as fast.
3.) Meanwhile Sly wins the race (or does he just finish) with a broken (literally) front axis.

I was watching that with a friend at my house and we were both just: "Who wrote that script? A six-year old?"

[insert Steven Seagal/Chuck norris film here]

...is the worst film ever created. I'd also like to add that Family guy's portrayal of Steven Seagal and his movies is hilarious

</font>[/QUOTE]Not quite a six year old but Stallone is pretty close. God I hate that movie. and on top of that not even a hint of anything even slightly resembling a cohesive plot. Dr Suess writes stories with more twice the plot of "driven."

Punch Drunk Love and Solaris are two movies I've seen recently that I would nominate as worst ever. I've never walked out of a movie before, but Solaris seemed to me like 10 minutes of film played over and over again.

I actually think PUNCH DRUNK LOVE is quite interesting.

as for SOLAIRS...much worst than the original movie it was remade of...however, if you cannot sit through this actually more audience friendly version, this type of film's just not your cup of tea.

The Razzies voted Sylvester Stallone the worst actor of the 20th century. Did anyone see that garbage on Monday Night Football?
