Finally I've gotten through! I ended up going back to the stout mine and getting Freyedies to build me some more armour, swapped that with the Dragon armour that I enchanted and the fire breather let me in!
Moral to the story: Don't enchant special stuff until after you've used the stinking thing otherwise the game won't recognise it! Now all I have to do is find the third dragon shard and get our of the maze where the spider queen and the second shard was! Cheers everone, Pentaprism |

I too had trouble like you had.
I did it the hard way since I couldn't think what else to do. I waited until he ran out of fire and then I came back and ran up on fire breather and hit the switch. I found that I too couldn't advance when fire was coming down the hall. Sorry that was how I figured it! |
