Anytime. I usually go there right after doing the slavers quest, though - as it makes much more sense (roleplaying wise) to me, whether i'm playing Good or Evil.

How much XP does Imoen generally have ??

Hmmm... I'm quite sure that, just like any other NPC, Imoen's XP when you "pick her up" varies according to the party's average XP. So don't worry. [img]smile.gif[/img]

From a powergaming standpoint, it is indeed to Imoen's benefit to rush to Spellhold as quickly as possible, as she does indeed have multiple "incarnations" to match your level, but she doesn't have very many of them, meaning you can easily leave her behind. If each of your party members has more than half a million EXP, you might already be too late--she'll be playing catch-up for the rest of the game. If you zip to Chapter 4 like lightning, however, Imoen should be just about equal to Nalia in terms of Mage EXP.
