to be honest i'm not convinced speed works properly in tutu with or without the boots (you can run away from wolves at the start and even with the boots on you're the same speed as human enemies)
you don't seem to get MR effects on targetted spells (e.g. heal) but you do on area effect spells (e.g. bless) you can have any spells but there are no extra scrolls - you can always be a sorcerer though ![]() |

NWN is a whole different game. Acttually the official campaigns are only examples of what can be done with the toolset. Though the story got better from NWN till HotU I only finished the latter, I played SoU till chapter 2 and threw NWN away after a couple of hours. The toolset is a lot of fun though, as are the options to play online. It's not about the story but some modules are supposed to be able to cover that, I haven't found one yet.
You can't compare it a lot but I'd say, NWN module making is easier than BG mod making (tried both, still doing NWN and that takes so much time I can't do BG as well) which gives more fun and the story in BG is better. I like both but you shouldn't buy NWN thinking you have the third BG. NWN is more online oriented while BG is more for single player (with the party banters and stuff and all environments made especially to fit the story) |
