okay,
move in and let him raise his defenses. Move out of sight and if he follows you lead him away with the char with the best saves/resistance then drink an invis potion and flee. Now wait for his protections to wear off and move in again. use your tanks to hammer at him while using Yoshimo and/or Valygar to cover them with arrows (to interrupt his spells) CHEESY have Yoshi lay traps and then move in and lure him to the traps
