Sure, I've beaten Improved Beholders without the Shield or the Cloak. Load up a Fighter/Mage with buffs, and hack away. (Spell Shield, Improved Haste, Spell Immunity- Abjuration, Necromancy, Enchantment, Death Ward, and Free action

Nope, you can stack them.

In case you're thinking about using this SI: Everything on Beholders, then be prepared to gasp in surprise as they use Anti-Magic Ray on you, nullifying all of your work done thus far.

Huh? I thought that SI:Abjuratiom protectes you from Anti-Magic ray,becuase Near Infinity says that Anti-Magic ray is Abjuration.

It's a beholder innate attack, isn't it? Their innate attacks bypass school immunities, iirc.

Well then put Cloak Of Cheese on one character and Shield Of Cheese on another.
