Tormentor, your original difficulty probably lies in going to the wrong Temple. The books in question do not mention the Temple of Lathander at all, and understandably the Lathanderites don't know a thing about vampiric necromancy and will have nothing to say to you on the subject. But the books indicate that the Priests of Oghma might.
I personally don't use the "invisible text color" because I'm always moving from computer to computer here at school, and don't want to carry a little slip of paper showing the hex code for the correct RGB value everwhere I go. Would it be difficult to implement some [spoil] and [/spoil] tags that did the same thing?

He says he got to the temple in Docks (there is only Oghman one).

Well, he said "temple of Lathander in the Docks district," so if he spoke to some Priests and they had nothing to say on the matter, he more than likely simply went to the wrong temple.
