ehm, it seems everyone is forgetting the setting.
remember, this is a world where 95% of the population never leaves their home town. and to such folk, huge snakes, elks and other rarities are a treat. and did everyone find all the machines? the submarine? and how about that huge dragon armor. as for the elk, charm him with minsc, and turn him whatever way you like. i love charming squirrels, mice, cats and rats. sure, they add no real value to your party, but i wanted to have my own boo, even if just for a little while. |
