Just a quick note-the reason your characters are not permanently killed is 'cos you've got it on easy mode, i reackon. In insane I know that BOOM! Gone. little portrait wiped out and all. *blubs* I lost Minsc that way once so i reloaded 'cos i LIKED being a ranger and Boo was definatly a good luck charm!
