Alliene batted the lead bolt out of the way and easily turned aside to let the other fly harmlessly by. She immediatley pounced on the leader, kicking the bow out of his hand. She grabbed a fistful of tunic and raised the struggling duergar to her eye level

"You dare attack drow in their own demesnes! How foolish are you! You will pay for this, dirt digger!" with a swift move she snapped his neck and dropped his body in the stream, where it quickly carried him away. She approached the others with a baleful look in her eye, "You two, get out of here before I kill you also!" the remaining duergar quickly scrambled away.

Alliene turned to the others, who looked shocked at what she had just done, "I am sorry you had to witness that, sometimes my drow blood is too much to resist giving into..." she sighed and adjusted a loose strap on her swim top, "Well, lets continue, this is not a safe place to rest,"

"Of course Mistress. Foolish Grey ones, daring to attack you . Erm, may we rest soon? Please? I want to speak with you... and... please? Before we enter the city. Soon? I just wish to talk with you... before... steeling myself...Aliene" Calaethis addressed his cousin by her full name, something he rarely did, almost never. Only when he was 100% serious.

Hearing her full name from Calaethis startled her, "Of course we may talk, come over here,"

She gave Natha a nod and walked to a small area strewn with rocks. Alliene selected one and climbed up on it, "Is there aught that ails you, cousin?" she scratched her back distractedly, twisting her torso around before looking back at him, "What is it you wished to speak about?"

Calaethis knelt gracefully before her, facing her side. "Cloak us, so he does not hear, please?" After Aliene had cast "improved invisiblity", Calaethis sighed. Then he looked up at his cousin, and slowly layed his head on her lap. "...Aliene... my cousin... I haven't seen you in years... and... I get dragged into this..." Calaethis smiled wryly. "It is good to see you, I suppose... and at last I get to see you're home... you looked after me as a child... for a while... and..." Calaethis breaks off, and looks up at his cousin, the same way he looked up at her as a child, his eyes full of childlike trust, knowing that she would care for him, and keep out of harm. then he closed his eyes, and allowed her to stroke his hair ***OOC should she want to (erm stroke his hair that is) [img]tongue.gif[/img] ***

Alliene blinked and smiled, "Oh Calethis, its ok. A little taste of drow society will either make or break you. I did not mean to drag you into this," she leaned down and kissed his cheek, "I won't let anything happen to you," to continued to stroke his hair with the soft hand that had broken a duregars neck.

Calaethis felt his cousin's presence, and remembered the same warm from her when he was a child. Close to him again. He relaxed in her embrace for a while, then released her. They both Stood up and he hugged her fiercely, laying his head on her breast. Even though he was of a hieght with her. After she had caressed him for another length of time, he let go and whispered, "Thank you... we should get going now... I won't touch you again...until you give me permission.." Calaethis flushed "Do they have bathes at you're mothers home? I really think I should take on... or aren't slaves allowed? Still... if I slept in the same room as you, on the floor I mean... and you threw everyone out..." Calaethis broke off "Forgive me. It is you're descion. Mistress." Calaethis steeled himself mentally, and began harding himself, over the jorney to the City. Aliene would notice this change in him.

***OOC, we shoudl make our way to the drow city in the next two or three posts,

edit, remember to loose the sigs everyone!

OOC: Calaethis, i doubt ur the same heigth as Alliene...shes about 5'1, which is why her strength is so remarkable. Also everyone, Alliene and Cal are very distantly related

Alliene chuckled, "A bath would be in order, and a hair cut," she winked at him

When the party was rested, they started moving again. There was a sreech and Zachana darted out of the air and collided with Alliene happily

<<My lady! I informed your mother, she will be expecting you and your party>>

<<Thank you Zachana, you may sleep now>> the dragon crawled back into its pouch

"I expect we'll be there in a day guys, lets move quickly,"

Calaethis obeys his cousins's command, and soon, within the day, they come in site of the drow city... Calaethis gasped to see it. Aliene bade the party wait for her. And sharply called out in drowish to the two boarder Guards. They apporched the party...

OOC: everything will be in english now, for the non-drow speakers benefit. But in the city everyone talks drow

The drow bowed to her, "You are Matron Streea's daughter, yes? She has been excpecting you. You can find her at the Estate"

"Thank you," Alliene said shortly, and gestured to her companions and they strode through the gates

Calaethis is even more amazed by the city's interior. Spiders sat around contentedly in random places, drow with weapons and slaves walked passed, giving the group a hard glare, but moving on after meeting eyes with Alliene. They passed a slave area which Alliene normally would have disregaurded, but she notived that a woman in a cage was yelling in drow. She approached the cage,

"Hail drow mistress, why are you caged?"
