She nods uncertainly, lowering her head in obedience. Yet she cannot explain this strange emotion stirring inside her ~ I... do not wish to know the truth, somehow. ~ And she is suddenly gripped by a tide of wretchedness. Starting to tremble again, she whispers to Galadria ~ "Bring me to your companions if you wish, my lady... but, please, promise me one thing."

Holding herself closely ~ "Promise me that I will not find out my past... until I am ready."

Seeing the shadow of his bent figure extending a hand to him, she begins to smile undetected, the dark surroundings lending a wondrous camouflage. Detestable, hateful reality! ~ Why should I be in a hurry to return to it? ~ The unhappiness shrouding her is so immense, she begins to giggle softly to herself as a glint appears in her eyes.

"Alright, Legolas... I'm coming." ~ She reaches out to hold his hand, allowing him to pull her up slightly. Then, quick as a lightning whip, jerks him forward. As he stumbles forward, her delighted laugh is silenced by fearful regret ~ Does he despise and resent me now?

She watches the elf, her pulse turning rather erratic.

By this time tomorrow night, Micah Andrew should be added to our family tree.

It will be a day or two before I can Post again.

However, I planned to use Ice Storm to pelt Baz'guul with hail (3-30 dmg) and blast him with a Lightning Bolt (10d6). I also have a Bigby's Interposing Hand to Slow him down.

Feel free to continue the story without me for now.

SIR BLANDAMOUR (A day has passed. There is no sign of the demon or his army. An unexpected band of horsemen bearing the Badge of the Order show up at the front gate, demanding to see Sir Bors. He rushes to the gate, and, taking one look at the little troop, swiftly orders the gate opened. He goes down and greets the leader, an old but still tall and sinewy knight.)

SIR BORS (He bows) "Welcome, Sir Regnan. What brings the Grand Inquisitor of the Order to our little fortress, here?"

SIR REGNAN "Greetings to ye, young Bors. I have heard that ye have a demon to deal with, here, and so I came, bering a scroll that may do ye good, if he be as powerful as my informant saith."

SIR BORS (Cocks one eye ) "And, may we know whom your informant is?"

SIR REGNAN "That is not for ye to know, Bors. Such as ye are too innocent of the world of demons to deal with such as she. Be that as it may, I am here to help ye."

Bazguul

Bazguul stepped from the tavern after ascending the long stairway. He had a dozen men with him, that were his chief protectors. They were each armed with a long-bow and a short-sword. They formed a barrier around their master. Seeing the first sign of troops within the city that had invaded, Bazguul'tek raised his arms up and muttered a few simple words. Suddenly, the air exploded with a greenish fire, burning to cinders all those that were too near the point of ignition. The fires burned so hot that the stones of one wall became molten lava. That wall collapsed, sending more men to thier deaths. The archers now began firing on anybody that they saw moving.

OOC>>>How is that for a first taste of death? I will let you guys decide how many deaths were actual, as I do not know your army's head-count. If we can hold out for TAO for a few more posts before getting to the nitty-gritty, she would be appreciative.
