I don't really know...I've read pretty confusing stuff about whether it will be a short season or whether it will be continued later...

Most of what I read seems to show that next episode is the end of Generations (Season 2)

Kinda stupid isn't it? I mean, what if the strike is over soon? No more $$$ to be made, plus the fans are angry.

How much does a writer make BTW?

I was wondering the same thing myself. I mean is it really a matter of them making enough to live off of, or are they just being greedy?

From what I understand the strike is over their compensation pay from DVD and Video sales. Currently they get 4c from each Video or DVD sold. This was based of an old agreement made years ago before the popularity of DVD. They want to increase this to 8c per unit sold

So I'm guessing the production companies put up a fuss over it BEFORE the strike, right? Or did the writers jump the gun and before attempting to negotiate just sat down and said "we're not working til we can have it our way."?

In addition what is the typical lifestyle of a TV drama writer? I mean are they really struggling to live above the poverty line or are they just greedy little turds?

If they were being honest about it, the writer's have told that they often need other jobs to fill the gap financially. I don't suspect it's a case of being greedy when the actors and publishers involved get to live like stars, unlike the writers.

Kensai for sure. Then it depends. In the main storyline both Hiro and Peter have a chance to die. In the New Orlean Storyline I see either the girl or Niki. Then there's the Mexican storyline. I doubt they plan to off Sylar in a half season, but I think in the full version they probably planed to kill him. They could kill Maya(?) and I wouldn't mind.
