A dark figure garbed in black decended the stairs and met them. He was hooded, and they could not make out his features. An aura of darkness and void surrounded the figure... he did not appear armoured, in fact, all they could see was whirling darkness - and a black cowl - nothing more... he didn't seem hostile though, merely... ominous.

Verloren's eyes widened in wonder, but her stallions ear's shot back and laid against his skull. Picking up on her horses manner, she lifter her chin,
"Pray tell, who might you be?" she addressed the figure.

(OOC: D.K. Is not back in the realm where storm genasi go to die and become reincarnated, a realm which is like a void if the nothiness within the void was replaced with electricity, someone who is chaotic neutral will have to cast greater planar binding to get him back, that's all i'm saying, feel free to work that into the plot at your leisure... )

The figured grinned, and suddenly, the back swirling appearence dissapeared; the figure was an elf, youngish - but not overly so. His back garb dissapeared, to reavel a musty, pastal grey tunic, and black breeches. He smiled slightly, "Forgive me for startling you, fair lady - my name is not important... may I ask who you are?"

Verloren slid off Wind Shadow and puffed her chest indignantly,
"I am Verloren Esgaroth Dragonflame of Defari. You certainly don't look like the master of this place; why were you trying to frighten us?" she fingered her dagger pointedly.

"Put that away!" he said swiftly, the young elf glanced at the one that called herself, 'Verloren'; "It is for my own defense, and I am no master... as for scaring you - you might be hostile!"

"Who, me? Hostile? I think you would have more fear of my horse than me," she laughed melodiously, then turned serious, "But as it stands, your name is important to me. So what is it. And where are we?"

The figure paused, a frown creasing his elven brow. "As to that, and to both of your questions, I do not know..." His features twisted into a frown, his eyes narrowing. "As I said, it is not important. Address me as you will."

The elf glanced at the newcomer and his eyes narrowed. "How many more times must I say my name doesn't matter?!" he said in an exasperated tone. "None of you shall know my name - because I do not know it myself! Now be silent about that matter!"
