Lifespans are often determined by skill when adventuring.
![]() Natural Lifespans: Humans should be self-explanatory. Elves live hundreds of years. Dwarves live hundreds of years, but not nearly as long as elves. (300 is absolute max) Half-Elves live about 200 years or so. Human blood makes them age faster than elves, but slower than humans. Gnomes, halflings, half-orcs: Don't know. Likely similar to human lifespans.

According to the Books involving hobbits. hobbits reach an age period called the tweens or their twenties (an age similar to our teens). And at 50 Bilbo baggins was still considered middle-aged. So I'd say halflings get roughly 2x the standard human life expectancy. about 150 years if you a halfling in america, almost 180 in singapore, etc.

gnomes are closer to dwarves i think bout 150-200 250 being maximum I think halflings and half-orcs are very simmillar to humans, proably a little longer for halflings little shorter for half-orcs

I think for halflings it would be about 130 years. Bilbo's life was extended by the ring0 and he was pretty much dying in rivendel after giving the it up at 111 years of age.

Gnomes live as long as dwarwes do. They have both dwarwen and faerie blood cuorsing in their veins.
Through their whole long lives they pick up stories and anecdotes that all get tangled into their tumbly little minds. This actually makes aged gnomes quite unbearable to listen to in the run. Half-orcs has the same potential lifespans as humans, but because their chosen lifestyles are often hard on their bodies they usually don't become so old. Of all humanoids goblins have one of the shortest lifespan. I think goblins reach adulthood about age 8 or 10.

according to AD&D 2nd edition Lifespans are as follows (unless shortened or lengthened through adventuring) numbers are from either players handbook or humanoids handbook
dwarf - 450 max (250+2d100) elf - 750 max (350+4d100)(note elves do not die upon reaching this age, they merely depart the world of men) gnome - 500 max(200+3d100) half-elf - 185 max (125+3d20) halfling - 200 max (100+1d100) human - 130 max (90+2d20) 1/2orc - 80 max (60+1d20) goblin - 60 max (40+1d20) hobgoblin - 70 max(50+1d20) kobold - 135 max(95+2d20) minotaur - 250 max (150+1d100) Ogre(1/2ogre) - 130 max(90+2d20) Orc - 45 max (35+1d10) centaur - 115 max(75+2d20) some campaign worlds have different aging effects, ie for darksun elves live about the same length as humans, and dwarves live a little longer, and most standard humanoids like 1/2 orcs don't exsist at all, in Birthright elves do not age at all (and are thusly immune to aging spells and powers like the touch of a ghost)

Morgeruat, that's the same age that Bilbo left on his quest with the dwarves, 61 years before.
