characters stop walking

Sometimes when I want my party to go to a new area or enter a building and I click to let them enter or travel to some party members stop walking. They won't walk there unless I let them walk nearby the door or 'gate' and let them enter then. Is there some patch to make it (I have the official SoA patch)?

Have you downloaded the Baldurdash SoA Fixpack v3.61? I assume you do not have ToB installed.

I have both the SOA patch and TOB patch and I still sometimes have this problem so the patchs don't work.

Do you have ToB installed?

If you do not have ToB installed, get the Official SoA Patch first, then get the Baldurdash SoA Fixpack v3.61.

If you do have ToB installed, get the Official ToB Patch first, then get the Baldurdash ToB Fixpack v1.12.

Do the fix packs increase the difficulty of the game (such as stronger enemies etc.)?

No, they only remove game bugs. There are mods which will increase the difficulty of the game though.
