I got a Mage and and a Ranger, and both is stuck on a 89000 XP limit.
How do I get them capable of earning more points or is it maybe at sofware failure ? |

Read some of the other posts on this board regarding the XP cap - page 3 or so, probably. I asked this question a while ago, but again briefly: there is an XP cap, set to 89000 on BG annd 164000 on TOTSC, beyond which you won't be able to progress. We have discussed the reasoning behind this at length, and if you want to remove the XP cap with TOTSC Moggl knows how (as usual!).
