One of the thugs lunged at Seph, his dagger coming within an inch of his throat. Seph stepped back though, and the dagger cut only air before him. Seeing his opportunity, the militiaman stepped under the large man's extended arm and punched him in the gut. When he doubled over Seph went around him, and jammed his stiletto deep into the man's thigh, cutting his hamstring.

Ulrik looked down disgustedly at the two men lying incapacitated on the floor 'well it'll be a long time afore ye try that agin, aye.'
With that he forcefully removed them from the bar and uttered the warning 'if ya ever bring yer ugly heads back to this bar again, I'll happilky remove them for ye.'
Turning back to Seph, Ulrik said 'I'm sorry about yer little.. friends there.. that sorta thing dunnay happ'n in here often, and never on that kinda scale, I don't even have a clue why they did it.'
