Well, I have the house insignias and uniforms, should you desire to enter the city. We might learn something about a possible ambush there, I doubt they will expect us in their. If you like, I could go in alone to see what I can learn. My mistress has many servants among the ranks of your enemy's. Or you could pretend to be Viconia's slaves, we woudnt attract much attention that way either.

Skip looked at each member of the party in turn, adding a sarcastic
"We'll do anything to avoid even slightly dangerous situations"

The adventure had lasted more than long enough for him, it had from the moment he was caught back in Baldur's Gate, but they would not let him go anyway. And trying to sneak off alone in the underdark was even more an invitation for death than walking around in a Drow city. Plus, if he was to die down here, might as well be after he'd seen the handiwork of those vile creatures...

Looking up at Attalus Shadowhound grins weakly, and gives back the money pouch. "Allow me to introduce myself" he says, "i am Shadowhound the half-elf theif mage extrodinare, i am down here on a simple quest for wealth and glory, and who might you be?"

During the entire conversation, Skye had been looking on, mouth dangling open more and more as they continued to talk. "Wait, back up," she finally said. "I'm a bit confused... how did this all start? what's the reasons behind this? and what role am i to play in partaking this?" Lyulfe nodded his agreement.

GALADRIA "Skye, I must tell you that we are on a mission against the power of Lolth, the Spider Goddess that you were to be sacrificed to, according to that drow mage that led the party that captured you, before he died. Surface elves, especially beautiful females, are highly prized as sacrifices to Lolth. Perhaps you should continue in that role, and give us added versimilitude in our invasion of Mezzobaranshan. What do you say, Velkin?"

Half elfs looking for wealth and glory are generally not found in the underdark, there is only death to be found here. Why don't you tell us who you really are?

Skye shuddered at the mention of the intentions of the drow who had captured her. "Well, if it would help, I will continue in that role. afterall," she added, "technically I am in your debt, since you did rescue me." "And I, too," Lyulfe added.
