I'm not exactly stuck yet but I'm somewhat confused. I had been stuck earlier so I read all the posts on the dragonspire here and found out that the two dragonshards I have found are really part of a set of 3 and then I'll need to use them to open a gate that gets me to the dragon (I think).

My confusion is because no-one in the game has ever told me anything about dragonshards. If I hadn't read this forum, how was I supposed to have any idea what they were for and how was I supposed to know that there were three of them?

The shards get applied to a shield with a picture of a dragon on it. You'd figure out there are 3 as you put the shards on the shield - rather like a jigsaw.

the blind guy tells you about them, cept he calls them crystals. He says Kor takes them from him.

I can only find two of the three, though (one by the scorpion unit and one up by the boulder
