I'm reading this now and it's pretty good read though the Secret Agent Man type plot wears a bit thin sometimes. It's one of those books that's fiction laced with a lot of fact, but I'm getting confused about which parts are fact and which parts are fiction since I really haven't devoted tons of reading time to the subject of The Holy Grail. Has anyone else read this? If so, how much of this book should I believe? Any comments or enlightenment?

Hmmm. I've been wanting to read this. I just keep forgetting. I first heard about this Code thru a co-worker then I saw it in an ABC documentary special. Very fascinating and I'm believing in Mary. She sounds like one of the most noble person of this world. Thanks for the reminder.

Yeah I would say go ahead and read it. It was sort of hard to get into at first and I was a little annoyed with the Secret Agent Man plot he had going, but the more I read, the more fascinated I became. Now I am turning many pages much rapidly!

It makes me want to learn the history behind this book too which is sort of cool. I admit he's got me pretty convinced about Mary Magdalene as well. It's makes a ton of sense. There are also some on-line codes to break now which are kinda fun. I'll post the linkage if anybody wants it. I wish I'd have seen the documentary.

Question Mark

<font color = lightgreen>I haven't read it yet, but I suppose I will this year. However, let me guess: Mary Magdelene actually married Jesus--who never actually died--and they moved to France. Leonardo da Vinci was told this information (or discovered it on his own) and coded the information into his works of art. Is the overall plot something like that? It's Biblical history laced with conspiracy theories in an action plot. For those who have angry feelings at the church, it's downright cathartic. I haven't looked into it much, but it has got to be ticking off the Catholic hierarchy.

I also think that if one took one of the earlier storylines, say somewhere around the time of the Templars, it could make an amazing RPG.

Just finished reading this novel (sorry for the long bump), and I have to say that I found it quite interesting and a very fun read. I also don't believe it to be true.

Im Catholic and I wasn't offended by the book, even if it is true, which the author says it isn't, what does it matter? It's God's will, as the saying goes, it's still a good story.

Theology doesn't particulary interest me, but since even Dan Brown himself admits it was fiction, I guess such is true.
