So what is the max level for undermountian? I ask this only because I though the max level was 40 but my character is sitting at level 23 (F19, R3, COT1) but for the XP for the next level it says 'Maximum LEVEL'. Say it ain't so! I still die way to easily and still fear the the lower levels.

I am not on my home PC right now, but I know that on the server details option in the game just before you log into the Undermountain...there is information there about how many people are allowed to log in at one time as well as what the level range is. See if you can locate this information in that way, or maybe somebody else can give you a walk-through to that screen if you need additional help. This information can be really helpful in figuring out what mods are out there that you can play to what degree.

I just got home and looked at the screen myself. It is confirmed that levels 1-40 are allowed, and that there can be up to 24 players.
In other words...are you still having trouble or have you been able to advance?

I haven't tried to advance at all - in fact I haven't even played since I last leveled up. I just don't know what xp I need to get the next level. I hope to play some more soon. I will let all know.

When you select your character at the player login screen you level will ALWAYS show maximum level as your next level.
Don't worry once you get into undermountain you can level up to level 40. Trust me I already have 2 level 40 characters.
