Girdle of Femininity Masculinity

Does this item have any game effects (other than the obvious)? If so, what are they? Do you think it would be appropriate for me to put it on Kalid so he would appear more like what he truly is - a whiny little girl?

i dont think the girdle has any value to the game other than a warning to identify things before equiping them. as for putting it on khalid, i usually equip it on jaheira. she seems more manly anyways. (and yes, khalid is a whiny little girl)

I usually add them to the party long enough to give her the belt, then kick them out along the road to figure things out, while Xzar, Montaron and I head off to Chapter 2.

Why not give it to xar, beef him up with the best items and then send him into a bunch of baddies to kill him. It would look quite funny seeing him (or her) poking a dagger at a bunch of gnolls while they cut him to bits.

My guess is he'll stay in male form when u meet him in BG2: SoA.
