Should I go to Sendai's enclave or Abagizal's Lair first? I am not just talking about difficulty, I would also like to know which has the best weaponary and/or the most experiance to be gained from going there.

I'm coming up on this decision soon myself. My reasearch tells me that Sendai has the most chances to finish off my best upgradable items.

The Bowstring of Gond - I'm using the Taralash; but, it can also be used for the Darkfire and the Firetooth. You can only pick one though.

The Eye of Tyre - I'm using this to upgrade my Holy Avenger; but, it can also be used on the Purifier.

Heart of the Dammed - I'm not using this; but, it can be used for Gram the Sword of Grief or the Short Sword of Mask.

Scull of the Lich - I'm not using this; but, it can be used on the Spectral Brand.

Liquid Mercury - I'm using this to upgrade my Angurvadal Flametongue.

Rune of Clangaddin - I'm not using this; but,you can use it for the Runehammer.

That is a very impresive list of a lot of the last upgrades. I'm definitly going here first. I hope this helps.

Sendai is easier? I dunno... I found them pretty equal (the improved versions), but if you are using normal versions, definatly go for Abazigal if you aren't too big on improvments and are big on easy fights. lol, Draconis, what a joke. Gromnir was a bigger fight then that joker, loool

However, Improved Abazigal is interesting with the 2 dragons, but wasn't actually difficult. Sendai has more little suprises to have fun with...

gromnir an easier fight than draconis? what were you smoking when you fought gromnir? Draconis' continual spawning of invisible stalkers and going invisible and undetectable pretty much toasty my party until i sent my mage in by himself and pulled the time stop/alactrity/every spell i know thing. luckily for me, i killed 3 dragons and the Demogorgon that way in a single day (real time) when all of my other strategies failed. gromnir was a joke. sendai was difficult, though, with that stupid 'sendai turns onyx ring' teleport doohickey. fortunately, targeted spells still follow her.

If you find single large baddies easier, go for Abazigal first. if you want to upgrade your weapons and can survive neverending swarms of drow, spiders, and dwarves, then do Sendai first. it's your choice, though Sendai's weapon upgrades are very good for Abazigal.

It all depends on whether you're using the improved AI mods that have appeared. Abagizal is easier (not that Abagazil is a knockoff; everything's relative) without the mods, but really gets a boost, IMO, with 'em. Sendai is very difficult, regardless, and requires a lot of finesse and strong powers of observation to handle. (Either that, or a thread of hints on a good forum. )

If you wish to figth with a lot of opponents in various chambers you would go to sendai enclave but if you want something more serious you'll go to the Abazigal Lair, the first battle is with Abazigal son Draconis (a much more powerfull dragon then he's father).

Draconis got whuped by my kensai theif the first time I fought him. Didn't even get to bring up the dragon slayer of the party. lol, hes a ■■■■■ cat. Improved Gromnir REALLY packes a punch the first time you fight him. damned helpers. Draconis is a wuss. Berserker Thief had no probs with him either.

Draconis ... a wuss.........are you nuts?
Ive tried improved vers and ascention and he is close to one of the most powerful enemies in the game ....invisibility in a split second and acid breath.....much tougher as a single foe than his father.
