well title says it all and those who played the game should know what I mean.
I'm talking about the unseeing eye quest and the demon in the lost temple. You have to heal it to kill it. I'm playing solo kensai/mage (21/22 - reached XP cap) and cant think of absolutely any way to heal it. I cant use the heal scrolls. (I tried the restoration scroll, only one I can use, and it doesnt do the trick). I cant use gloves of healing (reward from fallen paladin quest), nor the staff of curing. I'm in chapter 6 and no longer have the special ability to heal. grrr... I'm going to hate myself for not completing this in chapter 3. Is there any way I can do it? Any other healing items I can use? Any other way than healing to kill it? And if not... What are the other ways of completeing the quests that will allow me to visit all the other areas (down the pit)? And if I cant visit those areas... Anyone can remind me what am I missing there? Mainly items, since xp and gold is no longer an issue. Played the game several times and cant remember there being anything critical, but if anyone can give me the exact items I would be grateful.

the only items you will miss from not completing this quest are the brawling hands(dex. gauntlets) saving grace+3, and you will not get the sir sarles quest from the temple of helm IIRC

Rod of Resurrection perhaps? I wouldn't know, never found myself in that situation. Planetars might have a healing spell that will work if you can summon them.

Summon a solar or something that you can command to heal. Or just get Aerie and haul her down, then kill her.

1) Cure light wounds innate ability will work
2) Rod of ressurection should work or so I have heard (#1 never failed to me, but I am also such a goodi-two-shoe and have never been soloing with something with larlochs) 3) The gloves of healing from the Paladin quest should also work. Or at least that's my assumption.

Can't you just drag a healing potion onto it?
Edit- I'm pretty sure any blue colored spell works fine too. Not positive on that though. [ 05-15-2005, 06:31 PM: Message edited by: Sir Goulum ] |

Auch Shamrock, I missed that. It was (as a minor excuse) meant as a universal list of posibilities. In hindsight I am pretty sure the Kensai ban on gauntlets and bracers also prevents the gloves of healing from being used.
