D'oh!
So I got a laptop - and figured, I was going to throw some classic games on there, to play when I am on the road, vacation, etc. I threw on games like Sierra's King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Police Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory among several other games. (I also have the Wizardry Archives but for the life of me can't find the CD at the moment). But I also installed Wizardry 8 and then totally forgot that I need CD #3 to actually play the game (which is a pain in the rump, if I am using my laptop).
Was there ever a NO-CD fix ever made for Wizardry 8? I can't imagine there is a legal issue, with Sir-Tech now defunct.

I asked a similar question when I though I had lost the play disk, already had the game installed. Someone did point me in the right direction for a link, had a quick search through iron works but I can’t find that post. And I can’t Google at work as they have now put a ban on most internet searches…god someone would think they might actually want us to work while being paid!!
Fortunately I found the play disk shortly after using the no cd patch. I didn’t like using it, it took much longer to load!! I don’t know if/how it will work if you don’t have CD3 to install the game.

I saw a lot of instructions on how to install the various versions of the crack on this link but no actual crack download
