Yup, it's time for everybody's favorite subject. School! To be serious I've always loved English, It always comes easily for me.

Math on the other hand doesn't. I absolutely despise math, but it might be just because I have to work hard to understand it. Oh well.

So what about the rest of you? And don't say P.E. That doesn't count...

Favorite would be English or anything that has to do with music, and least favorite is Math of any kind past division.

It's been a while since I was at school, but I loved Geography and Biology, then English. I HATED maths with a passion.

But then, being a midwife, biology and geography are useful *grin* Had to do a crash course in Chemistry though, which I hated

At school, my favourites were ancient history and maths . Then I learned to like maths even more at uni, and learned to LOVE ancient history like nothing before at uni too

I wasn't that fond of English, maybe it was the books we had to read, or maybe it was the way it was taught, but for someone who loves reading and poetry like I do I certainly did not enjoy english at school.

Hmm... for me it'd have to be Art (various types... taking Digital Imaging next year... ), and for least favorite Physics (evil, EVIL... brain melting... aargh...). *tip*

I loved French class, actually.... and once in college, religion and art. I liked English if it was a good teacher and if there was a focus on creative writing, but some of my less favorite teachers picked out a lot of horrendous books and then proceeded to dissect them. That was almost as traumatizing as dissecting animals in biology! Poor books! I like READING a story, not cutting it to pieces.

And strangely enough, I've nearly always enjoyed chemistry. And microbiology was pretty cool (watching microbes doing flips under the microscope).

Least favorite courses were probably physics and math, although I don't think I hated them.

Really, I could like nearly anything if I had a really good, inspiring teacher, and I can get totally turned off my favorite subject if I get a lousy teacher.

I can second this. My 10th grade english year sucked. The teacher was Miss. Goodman, and whatever I did it just didn't seem good enough for her. To make matters worse she treated the entire class like we were fifth graders, and just randomly gave us assignments.

Here write this *newspaper* on immigration. We hadn't done *anything* on immigration before then. Don't even get me started on the books she made us read... Luckily she left for the Japan after that one year. Thank goodness.
