She's the only frontliner I have that can use the amulet of power. (actually, Anomen can use it too, but he's no help) But anyways, she has belm and can do nothing against vamps other than be a punching bag. I think Belm works against lower vamps, but the ones dressed in blue can't be hurt by her. I'm just starting chapter 3, was there something I missed along the way that she could have used? The same goes for Anomen. All he has is a Mace +1, though I'm thinking of giving him the flail of ages. With that in mind, Anomen and Jah have negative plane protection spells, as well as being able to use the Amulet of power, what can I do for Keldorn or Minsc? Thanks.

Keldorn's armor prevents him from being stunned by a mental attack. If you add the Shield of Harmony, the vampires should be unable to dominate, confuse or charm him. Give him the boots of speed and the amulet of power, ready a sword with impressive stats against evil, and you have a real vampire-kicker.
Meanwhile, have your cleric keep up a Protection Against Evil 10", and cast False Dawn. This is a beautiful anti-undead spell. If your cleric doesn't have it yet, you may want to deal with a few other quests, and return to the vampires, later. |

1. Anomen as a cleric can turn undead. Jahiera, being a fighter/druid, cannot. Note that if you want a character to turn undead, that character cannot be fight while doing so. Thus, keep Anomen a little bit bhind your front line when turning undead, but not too far. There seems to be a range limit on turn undead.
2. Get the Mace of Disruption+1 and get it upgraded to +2. The +2 version gives the wielder Neg. Plane Protection. A great weapon for Anomen (or Minsc, since he also has Mace**). 3. Get Jahiera a better weapon. There's a merchant in Trademeet that has a +3 club that is great for Jahiera. (Only after you complete the Djinni quest...) 4. Don't overlook the value of Jahiera being immune to level drain, even if she cannot damage the vamps. If the vamps cencentrate on her, the rest of your party is free to respond without fear of level drain. 5. Get the Daystar longsword. It has a once per day Sunray ability that toasts vamps quite nicely. |
