Light Bulb

And yes, he did drop the powerglove. Best ranged weapon in the game if you consider that it doesn't need ammo. This will be a nice addition to my arsenal.

I actually had to lure several groups of enemies over to kill the Dark Savant. The bastage has 800 hit points. Ultimately what I used mainly was blunderbusses. Did pretty good damage ( around 18-40 a pop ) too. My party was level 16.

Now time to wax the mook since I don't have the fake astral dominae ( the DS didn't drop it when I killed him ). And Don Barlone is in for some pain as well ( I want that COC ).

So it is confirmed...congrats. How long did it take, in real time? I would have thought you could do it with one mob, if you just keep healing them...give your casters a little practise, too.

Id say it took maybe an hour.

I could do it with one mob if I didnt instakill them ( 5% chance with the blunderbuss ).

That's cool. Now will Dark Savant appear at the end?

IMO he will. I'm sure the programmers didn't think that this would happen. And IIRC that guy is needed for the endgame. If he is really gone, even the buffo ending couldn't be, because a not existing DS can't try to blow up the planet .
