If you examine the PTorch you get the information :
Skill : Artifacts , Spell : Light Lvl 2 I tried every way ( use , equip etc ) but I didn't find a way to create light. I have no magic users in my current party . Usually I can see enough in the W8 caves but the Retros are a problem. How can I use that PTorch ? Thanks [img]graemlins/monster5.gif[/img] |

Afaik it's a bug / wrong description. No way to make light with it (even though PTorch is usable by all profession by description iirc).

yah, apparently the batteries are dead or something--it's been in the water a while--only a Gad can do anything with it.
