Yesterday I was playing TOB and met some undead outside Nialee's temple, thankfully Minsc had a wonderful item called Helm of Glory... and when he saw a shadow attacking Aerie, he used the False dawn Spell of the helm... and ehmm... a picture says more than thousands words...

Not False Dawn. Sun Ray. Level 7 Clerical spell. Check it out, when an undead fails its' save, it is supposed to get destroyed outright. The 1000+ damage ensures that.
Daystar +2 Longsword has the Sun Ray spell too. |

ach, yes sunray... I got them mixed up because Aerie was trying to cast False dawn when that went of... [img]smile.gif[/img]
1000+ seems a bit of an overkill... |

Daystar was one of the few +2 longswords I carried with me into ToB for that very reason, and am I ever glad I did! At Nialee's temple, I had my lead character with Daystar, and both Anomen and Aerie invoking "Sun Ray"...the result was something spectacular. Nothing left; not even the Master Wraith!
