If you get a really good sword or something and it breaks can it be repaired or is it forever lost?

Ive never broken any of my magical weapons. The only way to do this is by whopping an adamantium golem with a +1 sword or something. I dont believe they can be repaired if they do break.

You can not break magical weapons. No matter what you do to them.

I think the only reason the weapon broke is because of the bad ore. If it is magical it should not break.

Launcher-type weapons (Bows, Crossbows, Slings) don't break, either. And the CLUA Console lets you hack in other broken items (Broken Armor, Broken Shield, Broken Miscellaneous), but in the game, I've never had anything break except unenchanted melee weapons.
