The Last Stand (not open)

"Niodean eh? Well then, we should get moving. Based on our luck, an army of demons is coming our way. But we are running low on rations, and the water is nearly empty. Shouldn't we find some food and fresh water?"

Drazben quickly went up to the top of a poor conditioned watch tower, one that actually survived the battle. He spotted a small river, with some fairly large birds. "Hmm, I guess that will do." He thought to himself. He climbed down, and quickly yelled to the group. "This way, come on!"

Tuain't,Keeshe,Padia,and Pheonix followed Draz,as the party got closer to the river the birds started trying to fly away Padia readied her bow and missed one bird just barely,and the birds are all out of sight in the woods,Tuain't shrugs "Ah well,we can still reach Niodean with the stuff we got but just fill our canteens," you fill your canteens and move along the road "HEY!" Tuain't points at a town "Niodean!" the party runs tword the town but are halted by two well armed elven gaurds "No drow alowed in here unless a geas is put upon their hearts," one guard says coldly "The others are free to enter," the other guard says

Hey, I was wondering what your thoughts are on my level 7 Barb joining. Here are his stats:

Dex: 20
Cha: 8
HP: 70
AC: 23
Talthus stands a full 6'7" tall and carries a black iron golem sword. His sword can induce the same effect as the spell "stun" once a day. He has raid hair just past his shoulders and is built like an ox. He doesn't fight unless he is provoked or feels it's needed and doesn't trust many people.

(I know he seems kinda crazy but he is after all my best character) ^_^

The gaurd replies "No not just her,both of them,and there are reports of drow gathering near the Blood Bayou," he is inturupted "Arin,please let me explain on how the geas will work." A female magi steps from a corner "If the drow are to betray you this geas would automatically kill them,as Arin said everyone but the drow are alowed to enter,the drow are only alowed in if a geas is upon their hearts, do not worry it is a quick,painless,process," Tuain't and Keeshe still look a bit nervous "But we would never betray our friends!" Tuain't rejects, "Listen!My father,arch-mage and learder of Niodean STRICLY prohibits drow unless the geas is upon them!!!" the now furious young woman says you can pretend smoke coming out of her nose and ears and her face has allready turned red.

"Just a second now!" Drazben says. "Can't we compromise. Look, we both know these are perilous times, and I know the discrimination against drows, and combining that, everyone probably shunts at drows. But not all drows are evil as most people depict them. I as an elf, am proud to say that I am related to drow, and that these are pratically my cousins. We've been friends for awhile now, and I think we can both agree that in these times, friends do not betray friends. Your either an enemy, or an ally, and we are certainly not enemies. Look," As he points to the scar on his body, "I got this from fighting the enemy. My good friend Tuain't got that slash on his arm. Can't you just let us in?"

As you can see, Drazben is the person who keeps trying to sweetalk his way through things. Though, most people don't have time for his BS.

The young woman calms down "Fine, they can go through town" Tuain't and Keeshe rejoice and cheer "BUT" the young elf says,” They must be under city gaurd's watch, just so some angry mob doesn’t beat them to a pulp, farewell," she opens the gates and walks through them Tuain't gladly goes through the gate but is stopped by another guard this one you notice is of half-elven origin he kindly says "I'll be the one to watch over you, I hope you enjoy your stay at Niodean," the elves here are staring at the two drow Tuain't whispers to the guard "Can you direct us to the nearest inn please?" the guard turns his head "Yeah Ulunduil's inn and theater,Ulunduil's my dad also, and his inn is the best in town, follow me" he directs you to a huge building, and opens the door "Thrálas!" a strong looking half-elf with grey hair's eyes light up as he jumps from behind the counter to hug the young guard the man looks behind his son "Ahh see you have company! Greeting I am Ulunduil owner of a traveling inn and theater," Tuain'ts eyebrows raise "Traveling?" the man replies "Why yes, my tavern travels every decade or so this is the fifth year here,"

Drazben-"Ho, this adventure gets more interesting by the second. A traveling inn you say. Hmm, how do the roads fit this thing?" He then speaks to the guard,"Could I possibly walk around without being watched with you guys by any chance? I really need to see the city by myself, and since I'm not a drow, why would a mob come towards me?"
