The Republicans are going to take over the world, as Sean Hannity would say.

A power hungry group related to the Illuminati. Most of the richest 1% of the people in America belong to the organization. MagiK is one of their local spokesmen and rabble-rouser. Attalus is one of their secret emergency medical providers. They claim to be economically responsible, but actually filter all money to the top of corporations where execs. steal it and flee on golden parachutes. They hate the environment, because that means less money for the execs to steal. They hate big government, because that too means less money for the execs to steal, but also means someone might discover the stealing. Enron was one of their leaders, and Bill Gates doesn't anyone to know he's one of their members.

okay, i'm lying.

The party of George W. Bush!

As far as turn out goes, I think most states, but not all, had record turn outs for a mid-term election (one in which there is no Presidentail Election) with the exception of California. No one liked either candidate for Governor, so a lot of people didn't vote. My state had the largest turnout for early voting ever!

Our Governor's race was pretty sad too. No good choice. But we also got to vote on whether to change the State Constitution and allow a lottery. We did, now it will be up to the Legislators to enact one. If the republicans had put up a stronger candidate they'd have probably won. The Senate Race wasn't even close, the Republican Candidate won by 11%, but the Governor's race was won by only 2%. Shows you just how weak the Republican candidate was.

Californians had good reason to stay home, but then they could have voted a third party...if anyone was running

<------Voted Green down the whole ticket.

Personally I was hoping Davis would lose to give the dems a kick in the arse, that they so richly deserve. Oh well.
