Yep, long story short: One day I accessed my profile to come up with a clever sig line and I noticed the option to change my screenname was availble. I spontaneously changed it (I dunno why) and 1/2 hour later I went to change it back ( Wondering why I had changed it in the first place) and the option had been disabled. (DOH)

I metamorphed from a Narn to a Wookie in no time flat and the polymorph it was permanent. Oh well. I'm over it now, since it was like two years ago.
