I'm a United fan too (family thing), but come on, Northern-Fricking-Ireland?!

To be fair, Beckham combined really well with W-P and were our most potent threat, stupid Swede, why did he sub him? And for a midfielder very similar to the others. Rooney might have well not of been on the pitch, same with Owen, not a bad performance, they just didn't get into the game. Also, with Beckham deep his passes largely cut-out the midfield. Now repeat after me, "Hargreaves is not an attackign substution." AHHHHHHH!!!!!

Ayway, i've changed my mind, try W-P on the left and Beckham back on the right. Can't be any worse than tonight, and if it doesn't work Cole can always come on and play ont he left.

I think our fundamental problem lies with the manager, to be quite honest. Anybody who can take a squad with the likes of Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard, Ferdinand, Terry and Carragher and produce performances like we've seen in the last three games just isn't up to scratch, I'm afraid.

Ha ha! I got home just in time to see the last 20 mins and saw the goal
What a famous night for Northern Ireland! My brother hasn't got home from the match yet, I'm sure he'll be very happy (and probably drunk)

Glad there aren't many people from NI on here, god knows what it will be like if we lose the cricket, there'll be just too many cocky Aussies to deal with

EDIT: Respect to NI btw, a good performance, the results at the end of each half broadly reflect the play IMHO.

Told ya you guys suck.

If i were you, i'd stop worrying about who should play on midfield, and start being concerned wheter you'll be in Germany next year, or at home.
